Now that our families have received their gifts, here are some protraits we had taken on December 14 when Liam was 6 weeks old.
Michael and I

The whole family (this was one we used as a gift)!
Liam and his cousins, Evan and Addison (this was the perfect gift for my mother-in-law because it is impossible to get the three (well, at least Addison) together long enough normally! I dressed him in a sweater she gave us Michael wore as a baby.
Liam has a regular stretching ritual when he wakes up!
So sweet, this was my favorite in their group I gave out as gifts!
This one was blow up to just show his face and put on a collage for my mom, with a shot of the cute little hands and feet. He went to sleep again, sometimes he likes to keep one eye cracked open like that!

We started out celebrating Christmas by going to our church's Christmas Eve candlelight service. It was really nice, and Liam was like a little angel looking around with eyes wide open but not making a sound most of the time. He ultimately went to sleep. After that, we drove up to visit my family, who had a little wine and cheese party to help us all wind down. Liam was super cute after his naps, and loved playing with Aunt Amy who was showing him how to roll over. He has already tried to roll over on his own a few times unsuccessfully, and when he saw her he became more bound and determined to try! He was even trying in his bassinette right after we laid him down and once in the middle of the night. Here is the little cutie on Christmas morning!
Diaper change time!
Here are some pictures of Liam discovering older toys at the Christmas we had with another side of Michael's family on Friday night. We'll have to get him something like this, as he really seemed to enjoy it! By the end of this night, he was kept out too late (in part because Daddy was playing games on the Wii with his nephew and cousin) and all the holidays had took their toll. Our little boy was WIRED, even at 1am. At least instead of having any meltdowns, was super-cute this time and particularly loved watching the train going around their tree. He didn't go to sleep until 2am, then was screaming again by 3:30 and up around every 2 hours or so (not so cute any more for mom!). Needless to say, I was not in a good mood that following morning and unfortunately also started coming down with a cold as the day went on. Michael has it too, but thankfully little Liam doesn't really seem to be sick (go Mommy milk!!). He seemed to have a little stuffiness sometimes, but that is it. I'm also feeling better. Since we have been home, he has been sleeping much better again thank goodness!
Well, I'm ready to finally just relax and nest at home for awhile now (at least the next couple weekends). We have been away from home I think since Thanksgiving, so a break is long overdue! I also forgot to mention one other odd thing. Liam experienced his first thunderstorm the day after Christmas, of all days! Then it was almost 70 degrees on Saturday. How is that for bizarre Ohio weather!
