Cats in the Cradle

I should have posted this yesterday, but I have been checking Craigslist and found the swing that is on our registry for only $20 (it sells for $70 new). It had one small blemish, but I couldn't care less...otherwise it is in great shape. I bought it with some gift money I received at the shower from a really nice Muslim woman who had a cute little boy. When we set it up, our curious kitties were there on the scene to check it out:

Speaking of Chester trying things out, he seems to be convinced the crib is for him! I'm glad I didn't wash all the sheets and make the bed yet. Even after we filled it with baby stuff to deter him, he'll still try to jump in there. The only way to keep him out is to close the door! Pumpkin on the other hand is content to sleep under the crib only. I am willing to bet once there is a scary, screaming (and eventually crawling and tail-pulling) baby here they will stay clear.
